The junior senior banquet at Comanche High School Friday April 10 began at 8 15 pm. Lt Col J Stuart Pearce spoke and the program included invocations solos and toasts. The crowd enjoyed a nautical red white and blue theme with Shipmates Forever and Red Sails in the Sunset.

Indians Win District 12 A football trophy at Comanche High
Comanche High School received a permanent trophy for winning the District 12-A football championship in 1941. Co-Captains Billie Monroe and A J Coker accepted the eighteen inch tall award depicting a victorious figure with a wreath, football players, and an eagle. The trophy is kept in the high school trophy room.
