Comanche FFA News Producing More Food For Defense
The Comanche FFA chapter reports record food production for the war effort in 1942 with numerous crops and livestock. Activities include 316 laying hens, 47 acres of peanuts, 22 acres of feed, 50 turkeys, 40 pigs, 210 fryers, 12 cows, and various crops. Projects also cover terrace work, tank construction, vaccination, pruning, and toolmaking while the judging team faced cut state contests to conserve rubber.
