Nebraska Income Tax Withholding May Jump to 14 Percent
Nebraska residents could face higher state income tax withholding as the State Board of Equalization may retroactively raise the rate from 10 percent toward 13 or 14 percent to recoup lost revenue from a January 1, 1976 start. The plan follows a law directing adjustments to keep the treasury balanced with retroactive effect.
