King rides three winners at Agricultural Park Columbus
Jockey Dave King rode three straight winners Wednesday at Agricultural Park in Columbus setting two new season marks. He won aboard Sturdy Money for a $8 payoff and on Dacious In the third for a $7.00 return. Georgia Jackson rode Wolf Lady to win the fifth for $19.60, and Sab's History, owned by Gerald Zimmer, Beloit, Kan., won the last with a $71.80 return on a $2 win ticket.

Harness horses perish in Delaware barn blaze
Between 18 and 20 harness horses died in a barn fire at a Brandywine Raceway stable near Odessa Delaware. The fire spread in five minutes at a farm owned by John R Finnegan of Middletown. Fire units from five towns fought the blaze for about an hour. Damage was put at about 200 000 with no cause yet determined.
