Software boom grows from 270 million to 3.5 billion by 1985

Frost & Sullivan projects growth to 3.5 billion annually by 1985, with 1976 revenue near 800 million and 1973 at 270 million. Examples include individuals who built payroll and library indexing systems and a bank choosing external over in-house options.
