Nebraska House approves higher food tax credit to $20
In Lincoln Nebraska lawmakers passed 45 to 7 a bill to raise the annual food sales tax credit from 16 to 20 dollars this year amid a lengthy debate. Supporters argued to maintain reform while opponents warned of lost city revenue and a broader tax abolition push. Power outages planned in northeast Columbus
Northeast Columbus will face planned power outages Friday between 1 and 3 p.m. for transformer changes, with residents on 26th to 23rd areas affected.
