Bluebonnet Art Craft Club meets for February activities
The Bluebonnet Art Craft Club held a 2 p.m. Friday meeting at the FM 3118 Clubhouse with President Lucille Worthington presiding. The club outlined year schedule including a flea market bake sale on July 2 and 4, an arts and crafts show and open house September 3 and 4, and a chili supper March 5 at 6 p.m. Guests and members attended a Valentine program by Mrs. Roy Clark, and a Bible course reminder was issued by Mrs. Johnny Carr. A blood drive is set for Feb 28 at Whitney City Hall, 12 to 6 p.m., and a revival is planned March 13–20 at Lake Whitney Baptist Church led by Rev. W. W. Dishough. School notices and hospital update for P. R. Downey were included, along with a cookie recipe from Mrs. Ebbie Dickerson.
