Goodall-Witcher Hospital Ambulance Service will install two way radio links to connect ambulances with the hospital and emergency network and equip ambulances for cardiac monitoring. The service, run by the Goodall-Witcher Foundation since Jan. 1, asks residents to provide complete caller and patient details, exact location, and any aid needs to ensure rapid response. The base rate is 30 dollars per call with 60 cent per mile outside Clifton city limits. equipment fees apply and payments are cash.

Clock maintenance offer for Meridian courthouse clock
A Florida firm proposed to maintain the exterior clock at the county courthouse in Meridian for 95 dollars annually. The firm already services clocks at about 18 Texas courthouses. Man dies after crash near Clifton Farm Market Roads intersection
Tom Mann Sr. of Route 1 Clifton died Monday after a 10 a.m. two-vehicle crash at Farm Market Roads 1951 and 3221. A 1974 gravel truck driven by Randy Duane Black of Fort Worth was damaged but drivable. Mann died at Goodall-Witcher Hospital Foundation around 12:45 p.m. The truck driver was uninjured. Clifton Police Chief Alvin James and Deputy Sheriff Phil Staley assisted at the scene.

Constables Seek Travel Reimbursements Discussed by Court

TLC choir to perform in Clifton March 30
The 55 voice Texas Lutheran College Concert Choir will give a concert at Trinity Lutheran Church Clifton at 8 p m on Wednesday March 30. The group begins its 48th touring season with dates in Tulsa St Louis Ann Arbor Pittsburgh Nashville and Memphis plus Ohio Columbus Cleveland Springfield Green ville Napleon Port Clinton and Texas venues in Clifton and Gonzales. Led by Dr Sigrud Christiansen since 1972 the choir aims to convey text and music with works spanning contemporary pieces by Felciano Ives Bach and more along with spirituals and folk songs. Area residents are urged to attend.
