The Clare Hod and Gut Club thanks local merchants for prizes donated in a recent merchandise event. The gesture was greatly appreciated and praised by organizers and participants.
Rummage sale hosted by American Legion Auxiliary at City Hall Friday and Saturday November 1 and 2. FHA cupcake sale runs through Household Appliance Store with Consumers Power sponsorship. PHA members bake and sell cupcakes under Mrs Voisen supervision. eggs and milk supplied, proceeds support local activities.
The note thanks friends and neighbors for kindness to Lizzie during illness and death. Grateful for flowers memorials from Lutheran friends and Magis Community, and for comfort from Rev Iza Beery and Rev Beery. A church supper at the Farwell Methodist Church is planned for Thursday November 7 with serving starting at 4 30. Tickets cost 1 50 for adults and 75 cents for children under 12. The note also thanks the Farwell WHA FHA Glaze Manufacturing Dover church and Farwell senior class for flowers candy and visitors along with hospital staff for care.
