Plan for distributive occupational training by local schools
The proposal envisions education by trained instructors for local business people in merchandising, newspaper display, direct mail advertising, and business administration. It would run through the local school with school board cooperation, funded 15 percent by federal and state money and the rest by the board, recouped via a small enrollment fee. Mr. Milligan urged more education and less legislation. A committee led by Dale Kennedy Hol Johnston and Ben Burdo will study the plan.
