Veterans Affairs counsels delay on Michigan WWII bonus program
The Michigan Office of Veterans Affairs explains that before any bonus can be paid, bonds must be printed and sold, and the legislature must authorize the State Treasurer. As a result, no action on printing or bond sale is expected before January when the new legislature convenes.
