Celebrating His Ninetieth Birthday at Mann Siding
Sebastian Pfannes of Mann Siding celebrated his 90th birthday with an open house at his home on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm. Guests included sons Joe and Carl and about thirty visitors who enjoyed cake and coffee served by his daughters Grace and Margaret Gould. Pfannes, an early Clare County settler since 1898, tends a large garden and stumps land clearing nearby. He has three grandchildren and survived by his daughter-in-law and extended family.
