Preparing for the Day of Opportunity in Life and Faith
An article contrasts spiritual readiness with missed chances from a preacher's past and a modern bridge fact note. It recalls a failed invitation and urges right living now to meet the great King. Also reports Mackinac Straits bridge depths and anchorages, and a toll gate at St Ignace. A final note mentions a standing committee to advise hospital and university leaders on policy and development.

Washing white nylon nylons for brightness
Michigan State University extension specialist Bernetta Kahabka advises washing white nylon separately from colored items, using perforated bleach or color removers for stubborn yellowing, and opting for milder carbamate bleaches for regular care. She notes hard water requires a softener and thorough rinsing to keep fabrics bright.
