Isabella Memorial Field Committee Seeks Funds for Softball Lights
The Isabella Memorial Field Committee met at the Methodist Church on April 30 with Chairman Carl Baird. Del Mathews, new manager of the Rosedish league team, outlined needs and was asked to order suits and equipment to be paid from free will offerings at games as the team aims for self support. The board discussed lighting the grounds for softball and introduced a loan plan with over fifty pledges totaling $2600. A pavilion project for the field was also considered, as Mrs Dora Walker and others work on food for the Fourth of July and plan to present to the township board for approval. The community is urged to participate in spending July 30 at Rosebush.
