Center Church Rebuilds After 1944 Fire In Rosebush
Center Church rises again after the 1944 blaze, rebuilding with help from Rosebush allies. Pay Johnson and Mrs. Johnson designed and built the new structure, a cinder block edifice with 30 windows and a 176 seat auditorium. The $17,000 project includes stained glass, art glass, a piano, and modern lighting, honoring long time members and the community’s persistence.
