Minnow regulation tightens uses and licensing under 1925 law aims to curb depletion by seining. Dealers may breed and sell stock raised in ponds as permissible under new rules, with Golden Shiner breeding trials proving feasible. The Fish Division plans bass bluegill ponds and Golden Shiners to bolster lake food chains.
