July shows 739 suspensions as driver services expands
In July the Division of Driver Services, with local courts and enforcement agencies, suspended or revoked 739 licenses, bringing the year total to 4866. An additional 914 drivers were placed on probation or given safe driving instruction, and 964 letters warned drivers that continued conviction reports could jeopardize their privileges. Seven new Examiner Supervisors were hired, bringing field staff to 21, with details on postings in Detroit and Lansing for county coverage.

Farwell Defeats Oil City in Lopsided Baseball Game

Bible School Opens At Dover Tabernacle
Dover Daily Vacation Bible School will be held August 16 to 20 at the Dover Tabernacle. All boys and girls in the area are invited.
