Mrs. Lester Smiley Dies After Heart Attacks
Mrs. Lester Smiley 50 of 526 W North Street died at 12 20 a m Thursday May 30 1963 at Blanchard Valley Hospital after two heart attacks following a heart condition She was born Sept 23 1912 near Carey daughter of Russell and Ware Nye She married Lester Smiley Sept 13 1952 and is survived by son Stephen and two daughters Nancy Combine and Linda Combine plus two brothers Eldred Nye Columbus and Carl Nye Sumiton Ala Funeral 3 30 p m Saturday at the First Methodist Church with burial in Spring Grove Cemetery The Rev D W Whitenack formerly pastor of Delta officiated. Rev J Frank Ferguson preached at church services previously scheduled.
