Jones Prairie notes detail Mr. and Mrs. Earlton Harp of Abernathy visiting Mrs. J. A. Jamison and relatives to reunite with G. F. Pool for an extended visit. Mrs. Jamison plans an indefinite stay. Other visitors include Mrs. Bernice Richards of Austin at the Ya ser home and Mr. Lester W. Hughes Cleburne with Mrs. S. S. Hickman.

Private Nathaniel Ellison 21 of Cameron joins the Red Diamond division of the 5th Infantry in southern Germany undergoing intensive training with the U S Seventh Army. He is assigned to the 10th Regiment Heavy Mortar Company and is a 1953 O J Thomas High School graduate who entered the Army last April after basic training at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri.
Mr and Mrs B H Greenlees of Austin are visiting friends and relatives here this week.

New officers for the fifth period Homemaking class were elected at a recent meeting. Marjorie Wilkinson was elected president and will lead the group through the upcoming term.
Dr L N D Wells conducts evening services at 7:30 daily from Monday through Sunday October 11 to 17. Mrs Lorene Blanton leads the songs with nursery for babies.
