The court proceeds on Bea McClellan's will with Tennie McClellan named executrix. In Texas State vs Hugo Roesler the defendant is declared non compos mentis and M. E. Ondrias appointed temporary guardian.
A temporary guardian is named for the estate of Joe Ondrias, described as a person of unsound mind. Bond set at 2400 dollars. August Gurecky Rudolph Marek and Julius Sustek named as appraisers for the estate.
Deed records show J. & Barmore estate transferring 147 12 acres to George F. E. Levert with note cancellation. R. W. Gilleland and spouse convey 92.26 acres in Os Acost league to Kansas Life Insurance Co. J. W. Hamilton and spouse deed 200 acres in W. L. Hannum survey to John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Co.
Graydon Gaston wed Velma Hefley and Roy Mason married Margaret Christine Garner. Jose Silez joined Patricia Gonzales, Harvey Bartlett wed Gladys Anderson, Carl Clark with Ruby Morrison, Lonnie Shelton to Supora Lee Williams, and Henry Price to Elvira High.
Ben Arnold hosted visitors including Miss Eula Merle Scarborough and Mrs W H Fatheree over the weekend. A birthday party for Carl Allen Jr featured games lemonade and cake. Ben Arnold beat Troy 12 to 5 in a local baseball game.
Bob Yardley is home again and doing nicely, signaling a successful recovery after his recent absence from duties.
Vince Mikulas of Seaton visited the Kuzels weekend. John and H A Kuzel were Temple visitors. Kinfolk visited Lil die Mae Krall at Kings Daughters hospital. John Cummings died at Cameron Hospital May 22 at 1 pm after weeks of illness. Adopted son of Bud and Aunt Laura Cummings survives with deceased husband. Funeral at Methodist church led by Rev Daley, 3 pm Tuesday. Interment in Corinth cemetery by Coleman Undertakers.
Bearers listed include Joe Cummings of Da villa Dean Cummings of Tracy Ollie Cummings of Waco Clarence Cummings of Davilla True Loftin and Obe Hess in a community notice noting attendees and associated towns.
District Court granted citizenship certificates to Ben Winfield of Cameron and Charlie Kokemoor of Thorndale. Winfield is listed as a subject of Checovolakie and Kokemoor of Germany. In a separate matter Lee Allen pleaded guilty to forgery and passing a forged instrument and was sentenced to two years in the penitentiary by a jury.
