Many Turkey Eggs Shipped From Brady
Brady reports an egg association shipping over 8,000 bronze turkey eggs weekly since mid February. County agent J. D. Prewitt led the effort. Eggs go to Iowa Utah Nebraska and other states. The 115 members own about 4,500 hens. About 65 percent hatch. The venture is expected to earn around 8,000 dollars this season.

Texas cotton manufacturing reports from the University of Texas Bureau of Business Research show sales up 35 percent in March to 6 228 000 yards and production up 17 percent to 4 855 000 yards.
