Reynolds Estate to Fund Charity Foundation in North Carolina

Judge Wilson Warlick in Cabarrus County Superior Court announced he would approve an agreement to use the estate of the late Smith Reynolds to establish a charitable foundation after $4,000,000 is divided equally between his daughter Anne Canon Reynolds then two and her half brother, Libby Holman Reynolds's infant son.

Better Trade Continues Across Wholesale and Retail Sectors

The April business review notes smaller declines than a year ago with wholesale and retail activity holding up in the first half of April. Baylor Seniors Visit Texas A and M for Dinner

A group of 28 Baylor College for Women seniors visited Texas A and M on Monday and dined with Aggieland seniors in the mess hall. The trip included a stop at Old Independence, Baylor’s founding site in 1845, with ten chaperons led by Rev. A. C. Miller and including graduates Annie H. Whitfield and Lily James Myer and Belle James.

Steep Hollow Woman Plans 3-Week Texas Visit Homeward

Mexican First Baptist Church Session Includes Houston Delegation

The Bryan church presided over all sessions as associational business was handled and annual reports were read by representatives from other Mexican churches in the area. Two Spanish sermons were delivered, one in the morning and one in the evening, with Houston sending the largest delegation including a ten piece orchestra for sacred music programs.
