Fatal Accident at Bryan Cotton Oil Mill
Mat Merka was fatally injured at the Bryan Cotton Oil Mill this morning when his clothing allegedly caught on a drive shaft causing a fatal crush. He died at Bryan Hospital about 12:20 after being found unconscious around 10:30 by a mill worker. His father John Merka of Reliance and his wife were summoned to the hospital.
