Penalties Fixed For Breaches of Industrial Code

Washington July 29. The National Industrial Recovery Act prescribes fines and prison terms for codes violations. A $500 fine per code violation and daily offenses. Licenses may carry up to $500 fine or six months in jail per day. Violations of president proclaimed regulations also carry these penalties. Also mentions Blue Eagle insignia fraud. After that, Gloria Merle Harrison, daughter of Dr and Mrs R K Harrison Jr., is recovering well after tonsil removal.

Brantley Granted Five-Year Suspended Sentence

Guy Brantley, indicted in Brazos County on three felonies, received a five year suspended sentence in Bell County this week for felony theft. He will be returned to Brazos County for trial at the next term of district court.

College Pastor Speaks at Milam County Encampment

Rev. R. L. Brown of College Station Baptist church addressed the Milam County Baptist Encampment at Wayside Park near Cameron on Youth's Challenge. About 500 people attended as Rev. Brown and Mrs. Brown joined the event, which will close tonight with Pat M. Neff, former governor and Baylor University president, as speaker.

Robbery at Oper steny Station on West 25th Street

Four casings and eight inner tubes were stolen from the Oper steny service station on West 25th street Monday night. Burglars forced a rear door lock but no suspects are known.
