College Station readers will see Wings Over Europe by Rob ert Nicols and Maurice Browne Friday at the Assembly Hall. Plan Bull Fight for Bryan Rodeo Draws Big Local Interest

Virgil Stapp of Houston sponsors the first Bryan rodeo at Forest Field April 28 and 29. Sammy Stewart will fight a Brahma bull while about 20 Brahma steers and 50 county cowboys join in. Stapp and his trick mule, trained after a wild pickup in South Dakota, will perform, with a Chicago World's Fair exhibition contract in place.

Zion Lutheran Church Services This Week

February Freeze Slowed Movement of Fruit and Vegetables

March shipments of Texas fruits and vegetables fell to 4206 cars the lowest March in seven years. Prices improved slightly with the USDA index at 60 on March 15 but market demand remained weak for cabbage beans strawberries potatoes grapefruit and other crops due to frost damage and poor prices.

Rye 4-H Club Pledges Farmers to Plant Feed Crops

Miss Annie Mae Mevke president of the Rye 4-H club reports farmers pledged to plant feed crops per the A and M College plan. The county will provide specified bushel yields for horses mules cows hogs turkeys and chickens with pasture and hay requirements. The Rye club aims to set an example for other clubs.

Passover Observed at Sol Gerson Home with Guests

The Feast of Passover was observed Monday night at the Sol Gerson home with twenty eight guests including Texas A and M students and Hillel members. Bryan Hi Gils Win First Place In Latin Tests

Louise Dyer and Hanna Griffin as third-year contestants won first place and a loving cup in the Latin tournament at Brenham. Miss Alberta Scott announced at Stephen F. Austin High School assembly. The cup grants permanent possession after three consecutive wins. Dyer won individual first in third-year with 95, Miller took third in first-year Latin with 96.3.
