Texas high school vocational agriculture students from over 1 300 attended a one day series of judging contests at Texas A and M College. Cream Route in Leon County Sees Rising Dairy Yields
W. D. McDonald of Normangee reports steady progress on the Normangee Bryan cream route over thirty days. Only Normangee and George contribute heavily now, with cream increases from four to five gallons to 10 gallons at Normangee and about 25 gallons at George. The milk is centralized at the W C McDonald store in Normangee, cream is sent to Bryan, and the dairyman keeps the separated milk. Plans to add North Zuleh and Kurten dairymen are in the works. McDonald says Bryan cream price is as good as anywhere in the state.

Three Negroes Arrested After Store Shooting Sought in Kernole Case

The Bryan city commission reelected April 4 for a two year term and chose N. A. Stewart mayor and O. J. Johnson mayor pro tem. Forrest Jones retired noting business calls and desire to rotate office.
