June Weddings and Showers Draw Large Turnout
Two early June brides were honored with showers on Saturday. Emily Vargas hosted in Columbia Hall with 200 guests from Taunton, Dighton, Newport, Providence, and Bristol, while Miranda Almeida was feted in Lincoln Hall with friends from Cambridge and Providence. Almeida plans to wed Joseph Camera June 22 at St Elizabeth's Church. A Jersey City wedding for Pavonia avenue resident and Luke Langello was held at Holy Rosary in Fall River with 200 in attendance. The Langellos will reside in Jersey City after a White Mountains honeymoon.

A complimentary dance in Artillery Hall last evening by Co A Capt Straight for Co B and friends drew a large crowd. The hall was decorated with flags and bunting by Harold and George Fish.
