Bristol Garden Club Wins Blue Ribbon at Flower Show
The Bristol Garden Club earned first prize in the calendar arrangement class at the Flower Show held at the Rhode Island Auditorium. Mrs. Fred M. Dixon Jr led the Bristol exhibit and coordinated the Girl Scouts section, with helpers Mary Mathewson Elizabeth Mathewson Peggy Connors Rhoda Hobson and Ruth Hazeldine. The centerpiece depicts an Italian garden with loggia marble pool fountain and a 40 foot cascade amid hundreds of blooms and tropical plants surrounding a warm pool for tropical specimens.

HELP 4TH JULY FUND COLT STUDENTS ENTER BETTER HOUSING CONTEST
