Country Fair to Boost Girl Scout Finances Features Set
A community Country Fair hosted by the Girl Scout Council will occur on Saturday June 8 on land loaned by Mr and Mrs Andrew Moriarty and Mr John H Wall south of Reynolds House Hope Street. Marionette show shooting gallery African dodger and sideshow join pony rides and a tea table. The arrangements committee led by Miss Mollie Hamill includes numerous local volunteers with many subcommittees handling candy booth balloon booth white elephant book shoppe and more for a family friendly event.

Bristol School Board Approves Fence Around New Field
At a late meeting the Bristol School Committee voted to enclose the new athletic field behind Guiteras Memorial Junior High with a seven foot iron linked fence. The project, funded from the Guneral School fund, would cost about $2000 and cover roughly 1650 feet to secure the grounds for future use and potential field rentals.
