Man Rescued After Jump From New Boston Ferry
John P. Nybert of Beachmont attempted suicide by leaping from the bow of the Newton on the Boston Revere Beach and Lynn line. Deck hands pulled him from the water and a passenger from the Brewster helped rescue Nybert until a fishing boat arrived. He was later booked at East Boston station for drunkenness.
