International Race at Ogdensburg Draws Yachting Crowd

The first of three races between the yachts Canada and Selma to decide who meets Vencender in Toledo began at Oakville. Light southeast wind, twelve mile triangle course. NEWPORT R L July 27 The polo today was of the scratch order First Messrs I T Burden Jr and T A Havemeyer Jr played Reginald Brooks and J P Kernardian Jr but their play ended with Kernardian giving up before any goals were made Then W E Thorne Havemeyer and F H Allen faced Burden and Brooks Thorne was the only one on his side so Burden easily made three goals and Brooks two Havemeyer received a slight fall.
