Governor vows to probe Thaw scandal as Russell resigns

Action by Colonel Scott was made unnecessary by Dr. Russell's resignation received from Matteawan. The Governor forwarded testimony about a $20,000 offer to Dr. Russell from John N. The inquiry panel will finish tomorrow. The governor doubts Thaw will testify or leave the lunatic asylum while he remains in office.
