Two Big Fires in Charles Town Triggered by Incendiaries
Early today two fires broke out in Charles Town within minutes of each other. One destroyed the Fitchburg division train sheds of the Boston & Maine railroad near Warren Bridge. The second fire hit the T Weston Bryant undertaking establishment warehouse on Austin Street. Aid came from Somerville and Chelsea. Three alarms were rung for the freight yard blaze and two for the Austin Street fire within an hour. Residents in the Austin Street district were terrorized.
