Bessemer Board Approves Budgets and Bids in June Meeting
The Bessemer Board of Education met June 13 1967 in the Bosra Beem and approved May 8 minutes. It authorized bills and bids for library books electric typewriters and maintenance. Officials accepted bids from Sinclair Refining Gogebic Typewriter Sales and Service Northwest Typewriter Exchange and Interstate Business Machines and set new driver education wages and school supplies terms. The board elected two trustees Robert Hellman and Seraphine Fiori for four years and authorized library staff appointments and bus driver maintenance staffing decisions.
