Texas Eastern Seeks Permit to Shift Gas Capacity

Texas Eastern Transmission and Texas Eastern Penn Jersey Transmission filed with the Federal Power Commission to move 10,000 horsepower to the Penn Jersey system and to build more Texans lines in the Philadelphia area. Project costs total about 5.43 million dollars with a combined system capacity of 1,368,500 MCF per day, increasing east of Oakford Storage to roughly 843,000 MCF daily to meet anticipated peak winter demand in 1965 58.

Internal Revenue officials feared dismissal of their $69,000 tax claim after Vernon Jorgensen 51 Denver testified in U S tax court that he lived as a monk and worked as a slave to save $80,000 in 27 years starting at age six.
