Rites Held Sunday For Accident Victims
Funeral services were held for two Baytown junior high graduates killed in a Friday crash on Tri City Beach Road in Chambers County. Wayland Floyd Spear Jr. 44, and Robert Sam Turner 14, were buried after services in Virginia Street Church of Christ and Crockett First Methodist, respectively. Charley Turner 10 and Larry Brennan 14 survived uninjured as the car driven by Turner overturned on a curve during a trip to Mex Collum Park.
