Carlton plan to aid Arrowsie Georgetown bridge towns
F. W. Carlton appeals to neighboring towns to fund a temporary pier and bridge repairs for Arrowsie and Georgetown after a section collapsed. He cites $2,509 already spent by Arrowsie, winter transport dangers, and lack of local funds. He proposes a $2,500 repair with outside subscriptions and notes potential commissions, aiming to keep commerce flowing until a longer term solution via state action or a bridge district is possible.
