Court Dismisses Marriage Nullity Petition Monday

Miss Martyn Perkins of Holyoke heiress to the American Tissue Mills fortune sued Peter G. Morison of Boston and Bath for marriage nullity in Springfield Probate Court. Judge Denison ruled the petition lacked a proper ground for annulment. Morison, now in England, joined the Royal Navy on November 5 after a two month European honeymoon.

Children Choir Makes Public Debut at Central Church

The Central church introduced a new children's choir of about 20 youths aged 6 to 12 under Mrs Raymond G Putnam. They have funded robes through suppers with help from the church league and will wear robes for the Christmas service, led by organist Mrs John Shaw. They will sing with the congregation on Thanksgiving Sunday.

In Bowdoinham a Red Cross meeting at the high school saw secretary treasurer Mrs Phillip Nealey resign after 26 years and welcome Morgan Cushing of Brunswick chapter. Brotherhood Protest Continues At Harding Plant Meeting

The group voted fifty dollars to the widow of a drowning member and approved Thanksgiving baskets for two needy members. An appreciation note came from Andrew B. Kingsbury’s family for the floral tribute.
