Manderson Boom Driven by Moves and Growth
The town progresses with Seth Johnson moving his store to the main block between the band stand and Miam’s hotel while Manderson’s public buildings expand. Skiff Sykes adds a new livery barn sign, and town officials visit from the B. & M. on a special train. Teachers are chosen for Curts and town schools as Manderson plans electric lights and a water system. The baseball scene wanes as fans drift to Nowood and Big Horn.
