Mining boom breathes new life into Rand district
The Rand mining district wields new milling and leasing activity as Kellys 400 ton flotation plant and 200 ton cyanide plant begin processing ores from the King Solomon, Buckboard, and Yellow Aster leasers. Deepening dewatering at Kellys No 20 shaft, 40,000 gallons daily, aims to unlock 1500 foot levels while 50 stamps on two shifts drive richer returns.
