Sound transmission through teeth and jaw in hearing study
Observation notes describe that words spoken near the mouth were not heard unless they touched the teeth or were pressed against the upper jaw area. Hearing varied with placement on teeth and with mouth conditions, while a cylinder seal method allowed hearing without direct contact. The phenomenon links to ear and jaw connections and is stronger in those with acquired conditions.
