Foreclosure of Mortgage in Warren County Georgia 1808

In Warren County Georgia February term 1808 the Superior Court orders John M Cormick to pay principal interest and costs on a mortgage within twelve months or the equity of redemption is foreclosed. The tract lies in Warren County containing 150 acres mortgaged by Samuel Parker to John M Cormick. Publication to Augusta Gazettes for twelve months follows. Washington Bridge Company Incorporated to Build Potomac Span

An act authorizes a board led by Robert Brent Daniel Carroll and others to open books for subscriptions up to two hundred thousand dollars to form The Washington Bridge Company. Shares of one hundred dollars become a corporate body with power to issue bylaws, elect directors, and manage funds for a bridge between Washington and Alexander Island with annual meetings and defined governance.
