Alexander Presbyterian Church’s Centennial Legacy in Ohio
The Alexander Presbyterian Church in Ohio traces its roots to 1832 when Rev. John Morgan led camp meetings, forming the Cumberland church the first in the state. It grew from a log building to a four acre land purchase in 1843, rebuilt in 1874, and later merged 1925 with Albany Waterloo and Alexander Chapel to form a unique consolidated church in the region. The current pastor since 192% has guided the ongoing ministry and the historic cemetery reflects early settlers.
