Athens woman pleads innocent to drug charges in county case
Trisha Van Dyke, 33, of Mush Run Road Athens, is jailed on a 100000 bond after a Wednesday arraignment in Athens County Common Pleas Court on illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacture of drugs, and endangering children. The indictment cites methamphetamine fabrication near a juvenile, with two minors present. The case stems from a long major crimes unit probe aided by community tips, with a pretrial set for July 20 and Van Dyke held at Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.

Plains man held on 100000 bond in stabbing case
James D. Warrener a 41 year old from The Plains appeared in Athens County Common Pleas Court on two counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of felonious assault after being accused of stabbing Ralph Hartman during a May 11 altercation near The Plains Elementary School.
