Judge Discusses Clerk Pay Amid Court Load
Athens County Common Pleas Court Judge John Bolin told county commissioners he would give his office clerk Miss Peg Barber a $50 monthly raise for added duties as secretary, court assignment clerk, and court reporter. He said the raise could be funded within current appropriations. Commissioners warned against further raises given the tight budget and said any increases could be reviewed next year. The Mary Dale Corp subdivision road requirements were also discussed, with standards needed before county acceptance. Municipal Court records show Jay M. Weidman and Vroomen Lamprey cases with fines and costs listed.
