Gilligan Seeks Agnew Details On Revenue Sharing Plan
Ohio Governor Gilligan said Vice President Agnew will explain Nixon administration revenue sharing as he meets with state officials in Columbus. Governors warned the Appalachian Regional Commission plan is a shell game. Gilligan cited a six one billion rural fund and merging 600 federal programs into development monies, warning urban programs could be dumped into a general pot.

Sixth Street Window Lost Steamboat Still Puzzles
The Iron Mountain steamboat vanished in 1863 after leaving Vicksburg for New Orleans. No witnesses or debris were found, though rumors of sightings near Island 102 and Buckhorn Landing persisted. Built in 1872, 181 feet long with five boilers, it once served industrial towns along the Ohio and Mississippi before the mystery of its disappearance lingered with rivermen.
