Vernon Brooks 70 of Coolville Ohio died July 30 2016 at Riverside Hospital Columbus. He was born January 7 1946 in Hollister Ohio and was an Army veteran and IBEW Local 245 member. Survived by three sons Debbie and Jim Wilson, eleven grandchildren, five brothers and one sister. preceded in death by his wife Sharon. Funeral Aug 4 at White Schwarz el Funeral Home Coolville with burial at Coolville Cemetery. Edward A Gus Anderson 75 of Nelsonville Ohio died July 30 2016 at The Laurels of Athens. Born January 13 1941 in Nelsonville to Leo M and Margaret Anderson. Retired from Goodyear in Logan and loved his computer and Browns fandom. Survived by sister Joyce Dane and brother David L Anderson and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Aug 4 at Warren Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. A 59 year old woman released from Oregon prison robbed a US Bank in Cheyenne, then scattered cash outside and waited for police. She said she wanted to go back to prison after suffering facial injuries and homelessness. A detention hearing is set for Tuesday on the bank robbery charge.
