The weekly county court session is held this afternoon in Probate Judge Crook’s office. Advertisements promote Foley’s Kidney Cure, Dr King’s New Life Pills, Stag Paint, and Chamberlain’s tablets. Local shops offer candy, skirts, and low prices, with bank savings tips from City National Bank. J W McElreath serves as cashier.
The morning police court session imposed fines of two dollars and fifty cents plus costs on nine offenders arraigned on various charges. Total fines and costs amounted to twenty two dollars and fifty cents. Community notices mention local ill visitors and employment ads for Kilby Locomotive and Machine Works in Anniston and a Milwaukee Buffet Beer promotion at Markstein's.
Professor W H Council, a leading southern educator, spoke at the Auditorium last night on the bright side of the race problem. A large crowd attended including several white attendees. The address offered advice to African Americans and urged they heed it for racial progress.

Worthy advice on daily nutrition highlights Flour as essential. Postell's Elegant Flour is promoted as white, well ground and carefully handled. sold by all good grocers. Anniston Mercantile Co. is named as sole agents.
An advertisement urges customers to finish out all spring and summer weight suits, inviting fittings while noting willingness to incur losses. It promotes Buf fet beer at Markstein's and Stag Paint from Dixie Hardware Co as best options, and includes a classified note seeking a stenographer with experience in Anniston, addressed to Star office.
