Geo Koury announced War Chest over subscription and the fellowship dinner at the Methodist church with a turkey. Alexander Kerensky to visit Sul Ross Nov 28 30 and speak Nov 20 at 8 o'clock. The club supports moving the Andrews trophy to Alpine. Jeff Oliver visited Rotary, Al Creigh Jr guest of his father, Crumby of Abilene guest of Chalmers Broadfoot.

The Big Bend country drew many hunters this season despite gasoline and tire rationing. Capt Ray Williams of the State Game Dept notes numbers are about twice last year, with few reported kills to date. D C Litetton of CP and L says only about 15 deer were stored at the plant. Closing of Big Bend park to hunters removed a major hunting area.
