Local page notes mix of entertainment and social updates
A cluttered column recounts a magician show by Scheetz and Co. and a lecture by Alonzo W. Pond on the Gobi Desert. It bills parental play nights, dances at the MMA hall, and reports from San Antonio and Alpine visitors, with lively local banter and school life remarks. The rowdier mood touches upon Hunt season jokes and rail of progress versus era limits.
